Thinking about coming down for the weekend but have never been there and am still getting my feet under me. Is this a good place to get some more experience under my belt? I also only have a 9m do I need to try and borrow from a friend to get a bigger quiver?

if you can get a few more sizes you'll have a better time. the winds change at the coast quite a bit from morning to sunset. especially down by cape blanco.(the 3rd windest place on earth)

I really wanna go down there.. practically lived there last summer, and only been there for a weekwnd this year.. but i'll try have some friends come with me, but if not i hope i'm not left out... I don't work right now, and this sounds like a great idea...

Hows the wind gonna be? any one knows???

from monday/tuesday and on looks best for northerly winds...

bring your paintball gear for the non-windy days, the local boys get together every sunday to "show the ranks".

If the forecast looks good we're heading down Monday, otherwise we'll head down once the forecast cooperates.

We're heading down Monday night and will be setting up shop. Forecast looks good for at least Tuesday and Wednesday so that's a start.

The other VW bus that was coming down bailed and my VW bus sucks and will most likely break down so we'll be in a gray Toyota 4runner.

See you guys down there!

Just arrived last night, we're in tent site 6. Today looks decent, already building!

For the rest of the week the iKitesurf and NOAA forecast are conflicting... iKitesurf says light wind out of the north, NOAA says North 15-25 all week. Who knows, just check the forecast before you come down. We're gonna stay until the wind looks crap. But, I'm sure they'll be wind everyday somewhere between Pistol River and Whiskey Run.

Sol-Flyer's slider is already in the water, that stoked me out this morning.

arggghhhhh I hate it when the weather reports are conflicting. Sad

Ikite is saying that Saturday afternoon looks good ....high teens.
The weather forecast is kind of gloomy.. chance of showers/cloudy.

Let us know which forecast has been the best. Looks like its blowing great in gold beach. N 25+!!

Smile
