lastnight was fun, even though i had to split early. Today is going to go:
astoria @ 2: 52 degrees
scappoose @ 2: 69
the dalles @ 2: 81
we all know sauvies is a crapshoot, today looks closer to safe than usual. Even though the poo water is stinky, when it goes it is hard to beat

| I think it would be pretty questionable today if it goes at all, airnet only says 6. It's on like donkey kong tomorrow and saturday though. I'd head to the coast instead, but I have to be back on sunday so I'm just staying local.

| What time does Sauvies usually come up? Is it more of an afternoon thermal site, or will it blow all day if the conditions are right?

| well referring to the beginning of the thread, the forecast was for wind all day, but it turned out to be only the evening. I'm not sure if this is a trend or not. However, the wind is forecast to stay N 10+ mph Friday through Saturday and into Sunday. That might mean it would be on all day.
