i'm going to try to go tomorrow. I just bought a new board, a 127 liquid force 07 recoil with the lux LF bindings (it's shipping, not here yet), and I'm excited. right now I have one wooden ply glide, and another board that's not very flexible at all from probably 02/03...

I'm shooting for tomorrow as well. Hopefully its windy enough to practice some wakestyle shiet.
I'll bring the video camera out for recording people and later reviewing it to see what people are doing right/wrong if someone is willing to take turns recording.

Forecast for tomorrow (Wednesday) looks like crap for SI. Cloud cover will make winds no higher than 10mph Sad

Today was fun... sketch at first... the lulls sucked in the beginning, but after 6:30 it was perfect... for light winds anyway.

Just got my Crossbow IDS in today and got to ride it for the first time! It's a great kite... I'm glad I did the upgrade. I have yet to use the IDS landing feature though... too many people around to test.

Intelligent Depower System,
basically it comes with a midget that you can fit in your trunk. He goes wherever your kite goes and helps you land it.

I must have told my wife "its on" (for tomorrow) about 30 times this evening. Then I checked the forecast....."those assholes; its probably not on".

She laughed her head off. We'll see, perhaps or there is always friday.

LOL, that's awesome. Now, can I purchase this IDS midget separately or does he only work with cabrinha kites?

Too funny... he only works with the Cabrinha kites (crossbow now and the rest of the line later).

As for the forecast... looks like they were wrong as there is no cloud cover.... so there is a chance after all!!!

I have a reverse strategy this year, its kind of like the George Castanza opposite approach. I only go to sauvie when its kind of flukey and it may/may not go.

Plus I have one of those baby things that makes your time disappear. THe forecast actually looks fairly decent for this evening.

What ever happened to the solid 9 and 12m days at Sauvie?

Last night was one of them! Very Happy

Somebody was riding a 9m, that's kind of a stretch though. Definitely 11m.

Understand about the baby time sucking unit. Hopefully tonight works out for you.
