what was the verdict on the bushes, did they stay or go?

Hmmm, a lot of people were waiting for that question I am sure. I know a few people on Saturday who were worried about the reactions from people who weren't there.

Lets just say that nobody who was Pro-Bush must have been there Saturday. Wink I don't really think it was any one person who started it, but once it started happening the whole group worked to cover the bushes in rocks. The root system is still in, so really they are buried but not wholly ripped out. After completing the west wind launch bank, a lot of work was done to move rocks up onto the east wind launch bank. Now both banks are reinforced with nice round rocks.

You really got to see to understand, but I think when everyone does they will be impressed. Just a reminder that the species of bush was non-native/invasive. Hopefully we can figure out some native low lying plants to put in along the edge for those wanting to add back in some green.

Oh and the bush that next to the big rock that seperates the east and west wind launches was left untouched. Everyone agreed it’s a nice wind break and not in anybody's way.
