What an amazing day!
This event was a huge success! A huge THANK YOU goes out to Mark Barnes! There were a lot of instrumental people involved with the cleanup. Here is a short list of the stand outs, if I miss anyone, I appologize.
Janet for working the grill
Mysterygirl for wading knee deep into the water to get the rocks that most of us would have said "good enough" for.
Nick from Naish for getting the kegs. Welcome to Stevenson Nick! (this was his first time there)
The port of Skamania....none of this would be possible without their approval.
PDXMonkeyboy for his arbor expertise.
Rico for taking a ton of pictures.
Jake and whoever helped him install the steps.
Thanks to everyone who turned out. I think there were even quite a few non-kiters there.
For those of you who have not kited Stevenson, please keep in mind this is still a rocky unforgiving launch. You should be at least an intermediate kiter before attempting to launch there. If you do go there for the first time, feel free to ask anyone for help. Observe a bunch of other riders launching and landing prior to setting up your gear. Once you have witnessed a few good launches then set up your gear. We are tight for space and we need to work together in order to keep the clutter to a minimum.

Still a rough launch for sure.... if you end up downwind, bye bye.
My favorite new beach feature: The addition of "kite lander spikes", these should help for solo sessions. Just bring your kite down hard on the spikes, and they will fully depower and deflate your kite!

| Yeah I left a rock rake that was black on the rake part. There was another rake left there that wasn't mine, so not sure if mine got grabbed by mistake.
