So as natedogg recommended anyone up for dawn patrol tomorrow morning? Forecast is for a classic Rooster day. Should be blowing into the twenties/thirties. I know there's other working folk out there jonesing for a session in October on their small kites. Sunrise is a bit after 7am so maybe try to get there close to 7 and start rigging? Who's interested??? Should be pretty sweet! Might be the best wind we'll see for a while...

Damn, looks like RR is nuking still. So meet there just before sunrise if it's looking good? If the wind is blowing when we get there maybe a Dalton to RR downwinder would be in order. Let's hope it's not nuked out.

Is the sensor blocked or something? Looks horrible at 8-35?

The sensor at Rooster is essentially worthless. Look at the Gust Value and add somewhere between 10% and 50% to get the true steady state winds at Rooster. Or, Look at the gust value at Corbet as an indicater...

That was what we were getting at sand island yesterday - but I bet it is closer to 15 to 50 today Laughing
