Hey NW Kite Fans!,
Has anybody had a chance to ride the Nimi's in high winds? Just wanted to get some feedback on these kites. _________________ Hey, I'm being hahahahahrassed! |

Carol and I have been riding them since late last year and have had them out in all conditions. I've ridden the 7m in 30 to 35 mph winds and it is very stable and solid. I've also been able to ride the 7m this last week in Stevenson in 20 mph winds. The kites have a lot of range. I've also ridden the 14m Nemi in 10 mph winds and stayed upwind just fine on a 135cm board.
If you've got long arms and like lots of depower I'd reccomend going with Best's '07 bar. If you've got shorter arms and like to ride against the stopper ball a lot then the '08 bar is fine. ('08 bar has less travel and a little less depower range).
Last week at the coast I also jumped on a 9m Rev and tried it out - very nice kite btw! I then went out on Carol's 9m Nemi and noticed that the Rev has more power for the same kite size. Basically the 9m Rev felt just like my 10m Nemi.
If you're ever in Stevenson I can let you try one out. Or stop in at New Winds in HR and talk to Jim about a demo.
