The Fremont sensor says 7-11 NW already at 9:21am, and usairnet shows the typical PM bump forecast, so maybe people stuck in ptown will still get lucky. The offshore buoys are forecast to go mid/upper 20's and the columbia river bar is already showing N22-25 so the coast is probably the place to be today. Change the time in the chart to 2pm or 5pm and it pretty much agrees with the MM5 forecast with is usually reliable (as much as forecasts can be), especially for same day forecasts.
