Well it happened!! No wind at the contest and tha asshole who thinks he is going to sell this overpriced (NO Refund) contest is one of the biggest dope dealers in Lincoln City, OR. I said a while back that this contest was about greed.. none of the local kite surfs would even enter due to we do not need a hotel room or JF bullshit sink eye if you dont kiss his ass.. what a joke JF is, he has never even flown a one line kite let alone studyed the wind.. I am sorry for all you guys who showed up to a contest called by an total dumb ass who does not surf and when he did it was all ways a train wreck, he never had a clue what the wind is or how it works.. I think that the contest would be great if it would be held in the fall when the wind pretty much blows and some big swell can come in.
I also think it would be cool if the local, pro or amature or kook could be in the same class so if a local roads end rider could stomp the pros if at all possible.

I would also think that some of the kiting industry should be involved. Wink

Ya know it was so bad that they olny had one heat and it was a big free for all down wind run at 4:15pm and then it was over, but if you want to know where all the local kiters were we all went south of Newport where it was on fire all day from 1pm until dark..
