I'm going to candy mountain on friday; hoping for 9m goodness....
Friday:
The upper level closed low remains offshore setting up southerly flow aloft. Gorge gradients weaken but remain westerly. Swell to Hood River should be west in the 20-24 range but sites to the east look lighter. Stevenson west 18-22. Jones Beach west 14-18 late in the day. Sauvies NW 10-14. NW wind develops along the coast. North Coast sites NW 11-15, Manzanita NW 18-22, Central Coast sites NW 15-19, South Coast sites NW 20-24. NW swell 4 feet at 10 seconds.
Saturday:
The closed offshore keeps the flow aloft out of the south. Gorge gradients are westerly but pretty weak. Central Gorge sites build into the 16-20 range out of the west. Eastern sites should be light. Stevenson west 16-20 as well. Jones Beach west 15-19. Sauvies NW 9-13. North Coast NW 11-15, Manzanita NW 16-20, Central Coast NW 14-18, South Coast NW 20-24. SW swell 3 feet. |

aha!... you're trusting in ikite... i will keep my fingers crossed, because I'll be out there too... but their record with the coast is not usually very good. |
