Tue May 27, 08 10:26 amhatteras kiting video
here's a video I took from a trip to hatteras last month. mainly seattle kiters, but I know alot of you guys know these riders so I figure I would post it here. I just watched it on the small screen and didn't realize how the video would look on such a small screen. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy it regardless. Just trying new editing styles in this one.

Cool vid, Jim! The water looks pretty clear over there compared to the Columbia... surprised me.

Stringy, nice video for sure. I really like the split screen kiteboarding shots as it makes some "ordinary" KB moves more interesting. Some serious editing going on, what program are you using? Finally, have you exported the vid in HD quality yet?
check out http://www.vimeo.com/ they have free video hosting and can handle HD res!!!!! Check out this video over there, that is how video is meant to look!!

thanks guys for the feedback.
brian that cloud 9 video was awesome. I'll tell you what, once I feel my editing is at that level, I'll start posting them there.
I'm far from that level. if you saw my video in the higher res, you might actually see how crude it really is
everyone's comments are very much appreciated.

I know what you mean, I am struggling to learn the Sony Vegas Pro 8 software. Everything is soo damn complicated and I can't find the time to learn it. Anyone here familiar with that software. I would pay someone to come over and give me a few lessons.

Just keep playing with it, Brian. I've been using Vegas since '02, back when JP and I had version 3.0 and Sonic Foundry owned it. I like it because it's super user friendly and can do just about anything. Definately less time consuming than Final Cut or Avid, but they too have their advantages (especially organization wise).
TTT for Jim!
