I'll chalk it up to two hard-hitting hangovers in a row and two blue-ball days on the sandbar, to no one even mentioning a cataclysmic gorge event rivaling the Bretz Flood (and, original Priest playing just 30 miles from the Western edge of the gorge); BC IN HOOD RIVER ON SATURDAY.

Whatever political ink you-may-be, Bill Clinton's speech was bigger than Udo's spawn crushing skulls for multiple days, or even the mighty Priest's resurrection. Holmes-tanic threw down Slayer-esq-(circa 1987)-style for 1.3 hours. I've experienced the titans of metal...holmes-tanic (without pyro, Eddie, or a giant inflatable cock) rivaled the best. The man's got more charisma, persuasive skills, and crushtanic mojo than even the mighty Sabs around the days of their third album, Master of Reality. Where's the nwkite devil horn salute for BC?

Bill's got a way with the peops, fo-sho. At the end of the reach-over-the-barrier to shake his hand session, a woman got some up-close time with him. She was crying...he was clearly holding his hand over hers...and reached up and wiped away a stream of tears with his hand. I swear I am not imBillishing. Unbelievable.

Upon his departure, he left an aide to take down contact information from the woman. I just read Nikki Sixx's 'Heroin Diaries.' I think Bill'd give the Motley boys a run for their money. The most amazing part is... I'm am not making any of this up. As a reference point, the tear wiping moment rivaled this track condensed into a single second;
