Maybe it's the Viet Schlong? Shocked The water level's probably too high at RR so they finally decided to take over the HR sandbar.

Can you imagine trying to ride in the kiddie pool with VS skinny dipping in there? Laughing

As scary as that sounds the flat water bay at RR on Sat a weekend ago wasn't that far off since the shoreline was lined with booty.

they would get sprayed with some serious wake if they ever invaded the kiddie pool. i nailed a few kids last year with the wake off my board, that was some funny stuff.

Those homies were taking lessons there.
That pic was right about when I got there.

They were courteous and went to the other side of the bar when people started heading out there.
I guess thats when you know that the season's on though, when the kooks show up!

Which reminds me

Great album, Stanton Moore is a badass on the skins

My bad, I was talking about len10! Rolling Eyes

Really though, props to the people taking and teaching lessons for sharing the stoke!
Everyone has to start somewhere.
They were out there before anyone else when the wind was all garbage anyway.
Once other people wanted to ride the kiddy pool, they were out of there.

Mostly I just like Stanton Moore and was wondering if anyone else was diggin on some NO funky styles.

Lets hope that kiteboarding never turns territorial like surfing did. Ever go surfing in the late 80's in souther Cali and though you were gonna become shark bait by the locals?

Kooks are people who come to try and kiteboard without proper certified instructors, or don't have complete instruction and try to go it alone.

We have a right to dislike people who shortcut their lessons and put themselves (because their injuries reflect the overall safety of our sport in statistics, thus hindering our efforts) and other people in danger.

I'd like to see someone body drag in 8-12 inches of water, gives new meaning to the word "drag". If you had proper instruction, you'd know riding in 20 yard by 60 yard pool of 8 inch deep water isn't for beginners. It's not even a good spot to practice relaunching because of downwind objects you can hit if you get yanked. Please practice relaunching your kite downwind at the end of the sandbar where you don't risk hurting someone else.

If you are really nervous about getting out at the Sandbar, spend $200 bucks and have Carlos or Red Beard take you out and provide you support.
