Thu May 01, 08 9:33 am Staying in the Hood |

I was thinking of coming down to the Gorge for a weekend trip(from Vancouver, Canada).
Any recommendations on the best place to stay?
What about renting a condo / small house versus a hotel room?
Not on a budget really.
The Wife doesn't kite but she likes to have access to a good gym to get her workout done. Is there a gym in town?
Thanks for the help

| Not sure about places to stay. There are two gyms. Hood River Sports Club and Big Gym. I'm pretty sure both have one day passes. |

Sorry I didn't clarify...this is for the May 16 - 19 weekend. It is a long one for us.
But I do want to hit the coast sometime as well.
