The Director of Nursing and Health Occupations will provide excellence in leadership for a state and nationally recognized model for rural health care training. Provides administrative leadership for the career ladder Associate of Applied Science in Nursing Program and for other Health Occupations programs including CNA, Medication Aide, Certified Medical Assisting (CMA), and EMT. Supervises faculty in designated program areas and supervises the Health Occupations Coordinator who coordinates the CNA, Medication Aide, CMA, EMT, and other Health Occupation programs. Ensures that the educational needs of students and the community are met and administers the department according to the policies, procedures, and agreements of the institution. Serves as liaison with the Oregon State Board of Nursing related to the program’s continued compliance with the required elements of Oregon Administrative Rules.
Starting salary: $64,650-$70,645. Benefit package includes group health, dental, vision, long-term disability, life insurance, retirement plan, vacation and sick leave as governed by College policy.
