So I am finally posting some shots of rooster on Saturday - they're late cus I was busy getting drunk and celebrating last night!! Celebrating the start of an awesome season! What a way to start the freaking season. In the early morning it was blowing really hard and really punchy - then it mellowed out and I was totally lit on a 7. Very nice day!! Can't wait for some more.

Thanks Matt!! healed up, but crazy sore from 2 fantastic long, cold days of riding. I think i'm going to ware an impact vest this season. Keep those ribs under a layer of armor. Are we going to see ya in the gorge this season? Say hello to Kelly for Diane and I. See ya sometime this summer...-Stevie

you think a b3 would have survived in saturdays winds? Wondering if a b3 and a surfboard would have been doable???/

Guarantee it would have been rideable (but not "upwindable"). You need stronger lines though!

Yeah, I was definately surprised by the turn out - but there was plenty of room - some of us headed up wind to get a little more space. All was good.

Sol - dude, good catch on the two leashes, thats funny man, I didn't see that until you pointed it out.

Arehn, if you spend most of your time of the water it was fine, but if you are still at the new level and spend a lot of time in the water Shocked then yeah, the water would have been brutal.
