NOAA HR Forecast: Friday: Showers likely, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 58. West wind 10 to 13 mph increasing to between 18 and 21 mph. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Not sure what the water temp is.

Man... It died... 9mph now... hopefully it will pick up later as I'm headed out around 1PM... I might just fly the kite a bit if it never picks up... I need to get some kind of fly time before my trip... I haven't been since August last year! Last year work and family prohibited me to ride as much as I would have liked to... Trying to change that this year... as I suck and need more time on the water big time.

Besides just watching the wind, there is lots of rain with a storm coming through... not the best day but might be rideable at some point:

Are guys really that hard up?? It's raining the wind sucks and some of you fools are out kiting!!

Water 44 degrees!!! That might keep you guys from getting hard up so be careful!

the water is not that cold at all. i am a skinny lil sack of bones that gets cold super easy, and i was fine in my 6mm suit + 5mm booties and gloves. no problem Very Happy
