This week, our special guest on The Kiteboarder magazine and ASNews.net podcast is Sandrine Roussos, head of the International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO). Sandrine joins host Ryan Riccitelli this Thursday to tell us about the many new changes and offerings from IKO, including insurance for schools and shops in North America, which has been a stumbling block for IKO in the US and Canada, until now! She will also share with us four new projects that IKO is working on including home study for aspiring instructors to help them prep for classes and attain various levels of IKO certification, a new evaluation system, and a new training program including power kiting certification, as well as her views on whether she believes kiter licensing and formal site regulation is a reality we will all have to face in the near future to preserve access.
