NW premiere 'THE UNKNOWN ROAD' w/Special Guest Ben Wilson

Yup, Slingshot is bringing Ben into town in early April and offered to have him come over to Hood River to help us premiere his new kitesurf film "THE UNKNOWN ROAD". We have to hear back from Slingshot about his exact availability schedule. The location will likely be the River City Saloon, unless we hear of any alternative locations. Stay tuned!

Since we're on the subject of parties, here is a more solid schedule for the 2nd Wind Sports 2008 Party Calender (Mark, please add these to the calender).

1st wk in April - SLINGSHOT/2nd Wind Sport NW premiere 'THE UNKNOWN ROAD' w/Special Guest Ben Wilson @ The River City Saloon. No cover charge. Call 2nd Wind Sports for more details (541)386-4464

May 17 - ROYAL KITEBOARD PARTY @ The River City Saloon with live music from 'THE RUM REBELLION' - $7 cover .

June 14 - LIQUID FORCE SLIDER PARTY @ The River City Saloon - 'LINES' movie premiere & live music w/ 'THE QUICK AND EASY BOYS' - $7cover.

July 5th - PIMP-n-HO PARTY @ The River City Saloon with DJ, Costume Contest and more debauchery than you can shake a stick at. This'll be one to remember. - $7 cover (Bail posting not included).

Aug 9th - Kiteboarding 4 Cancer(KB4C) After Event Party @ The River City Saloon with DJ, Live Music and tons of raffle prizes, all 4 a good cause, fighting cancer. Cover charge TBD.

Thanks Pepi. Just when i was thinking of staying more local this summer you go and put together a great schedule of events.

The Unkown Road is a one of the best kite surf videos I have watched with really good music edited in. One of my favorites. I guess I'm going to go watch it again right now.

The "Unknown Road" is a fun Video!!!

However, I still have not figured out how to access the bonus section with a "secret code" that is somewhere on Ben Wilson's website. Any assistance would be appreciated. I must be missing something obvious.

Thanks for the follow up Diggy. We just got word that Ben had a delay in his flight plans (had to make an emergency surf trip to Micronesia, wish I had that problem).
So, that being, Ben's new flight plans are to arrive around April 11th.
We are still giving Amery the full court press in nailing down a solid date for when we can steal Ben.

I will hopefully get this nailed down soon as we really do want to have a decent turn out.
