Winds are blowing pretty good right now, I'll probably head out there around one or so. Lauinching from the west end by the Eugene Yacht Club. See ya out there Razz

looks pretty stormy out there! The yacht club sux to launch from. There are some better spots w/less gusty wind. PM me if u want to hook up! Been ridin the ditch for years, can be lotsa fun w/the right conditions!

Yeah, the radar doesn't look AS bad for Eugene as it does for Portland.
36 degrees air up here ... forecast around 40 down there. Water should be low 40's by now - hopefully not still 39!

I'd be interested in the water temp if you do get out.

sorry I could'nt be there today, but I have to work the normal day shift. Are any of you going to Mt.Ashland this weekend? someone posted that Florence waters are shark-infested. Is it true? If so, I'd rather go to a redneck bar and count my losses.

the whole oregon coast is shark infested. looking at friday's forcast it should be bordline epic for fern ridge standards, if i'm in town i'll be out there.

That shark research site says there was one whiteshark windsurfer attack on the pac coast in CA. Apparently he slowed down and the shark caught the board & the guy fell onto the shark! Shocked

I twintips don't look much like seals so we're good there - unless it just wants to grab you while you're swimming in!
