Foilboarding has opened a whole new dimension of kiteboarding for riders in light wind areas and in racing. Our guest this week is Mango Carabello of Carafino, a Maui big wave tow-in surfer and kitesurfer who first started Carafino after hydrofoils were introduced to the big wave surf world in the late 90’s. Today, Mango has refined his foilboards to be more multi-use and user-friendly, and has also launched two line twin tip board lines, including the Skyline Series and Stiletto.
