And, thanks to the rush to add biofuel consumption not only are we out several billion in marketing/industrial renovations...now you can't even get a dozen eggs under $2 because corn has been allocated for transportation.

Scary article PKH - "There's really no end in sight to this."

Time to buy a scooter with racks for driving to Sauvie's this summer. Oh wait, then I'll have to leave Onad at home with the baby!

Pump attendant siad weak dollar has surged over seas purchase of all bio type resources from our market.

guess will have to run used strait oil soon

Can we compost our food waste to produce alcohol? like ethanol??

manditory compost for recycled fuel. all those rotten foods to the landfill turned into sourmash to burn in the hummvees?? stinky rotten mess stations in your hood. maybe some high grade trash mash.

Tonski,

You just carried that baby around in your stomach for 9 months, Dano will be happy to stay at home while you go kiting.

				 	  | Quote: | | Gas prices at the pump rose overnight to a record national average of $3.2272 a gallon, according to AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. That's a tad higher than the previous record of $3.2265, set last May |

$3.2272 - $3.2265 = .0007 Less than a tenth of a CENT

I think the AP and John Wilen want us to believe the sky is falling.

Sure gas prices are going up. It's a drug. And we are hooked.

We really can't complain about gas prices here in the US when so much of the population insists on driving SUV's that get the same as or worse gas mileage that vehicles were getting 30 years ago. I saw a commericial just the other day where the two guys are sitting at an outside cafe, with this huge SUV parked and the guy says "it gets GREAT gas mileage" while the graphic shows "20 MPG est. HWY."..... WTF?? Since when is 20mpg "great " gas mileage??? Toyota makes the AYGO in Europe... smaller, four person car that gets 60mpg, but you'll never see it for sale here.

If you don't mind rolling the dice, you can always opt for a nice "made in China" scooter. Here's a pick of mine: 150cc, gets between 70-80 mpg, holds 1.2 gallons of gas, and get this, costs $1299 shipped right to your door.
