The forecasts show that east winds will be stronger as you head east? I always thought that on east days, the farther west you went the stronger they were.

Trying to decide to head out tomorrow. the forecasts are all over the place. Airnet troutdale-E4, ikitesuck troutdale -E15, airnet dalles E-26!! ikitesuck- E15.

Anyone?

On an East wind Stevenson to Rooster Rock is usually the ticket. Looks like the Dalles is forecast for West wind though so maybe that'll work in the HR area.

If I were to just look at the Windbow, I'd think tomorrow would be west if anything. Might be light east further into PDX, but there's a lot more gradient for westerlies from Stevenson-Dougs. Then again, they might just cancel each other out. I don't know!

From what I can see it looks like pretty strong westerlies in the gorge tomorrow...

trying to decide if it is worth going to work at 6am in order to hit Stevenson at 3:30. Could be a potential car pool tomorrow.

Yeah you might need to go further east like sandbar or Lyle.

Mmm, bald eagle egg omlets after! Wink
