Days of our lives in the Oregon.
Ya'll need to chill and not get too worked up over this.
The CGKA has been successful up until this juncture as a result of its grassroots and mellow approach.
Keep it simple, there is room for everyone to play nice. |

Wow, dude, you are a true ambassador of our sport. Good job.
BlowMeAKiss - You can skip reading this post cause it doesn't matter. You raised some valid points and they're appreciated.

True enough forest, but Mike does make somewhat of a valid point. Kiting is not going to simplify your life; that much you can be damn sure of. I'm also fairly certain that Henry David Thoreau didn't acquire a crap load of really expensive sporting gear in his quest to live as simply as possible.
Maybe you should just hang out on the event site lawn reading the Tao of Pooh and pimp ugly handmade jewelry to the folks that know what is going on?
Its one thing to be a member of the kiteboard community and not be involved with the CGKA and voice your opinion, but its another thing to not even own any kite gear or have ever gone kiteboarding, and then insert yourself into the situation. You had to expect that someone was going to respond that way.
Maybe I'll go online and find some wheelchair basketball forum and start recommending how they should run their organization or try to clarify what there concerns are. |

| It does seem like it went a little sideways... there are couple other CGKA threads that might be better for constructive feedback |
