Anybody know of any single track in the Stevenson area?
Looking for the classic long climb to epic downhill single track.
Let me know if you know of any or PM me if you want to keep it a secret.
Thanks |

lewis river is the only one i can think of out that way but, it is still probably a 45 minute drive so i would hardly call it in the stevenson area.
excellent ride though.

Falls Creek is awesome. It's long... 22 miles, about 1/8th of it uphill, the rest downhill, as a shuttle ride. It's probably still too wet to ride this time of year, but I haven't been there yet this year, so I am not sure. PM me for directions and details. _________________ Cascade Kiteboarding

| Tarbell trail and 3 corner rock are two others in the western wa gorge. Long brutal loop rides with very few other preople except in hunting season. |

There are tons of miles of BLM land behind our place. It's mainly 4WD roads that we ride our enduro mc's on. You can go all the way to Carson via these roads. I've ridden my mountain bike up there some but its a workout because of some of the ups. They would be a kick to load up a truck with a lot of mtn bikes and do a downhill on. You can get to some amazing overlooks but can't drop down to the Forest Service land behind without hitting Carson. (At least as far as I know).Watch out for 4WD veh's esp. during hunting season on some of the blind curves. Its not single but triple track excet in some places it can get nasty.
To get there, go to the top of Kanaka Creek, at the intersection of Loop, and Scar Rd, take Scar Rd to the end and it deadends into your trail. You might consider picking up a BLM map as you can get lost up there and there are road signs every now and then.
