HRCSD Disadvantaged Youth At-Risk Need your old Bicycles

My name is Ron Cooper and I'm a Special Education Teacher in Hood River Schools. My class consists of 100% low income kids. These kids need to get out this spring and ride a bike that they built with their own hands. We are looking for any of the following:

1. Old Bike Stand (we could come up with some money for this)
2. Old mountain bike frames
3. Old mountain bike rims
4. Old mountain bike helmets
5. Old mountain bike tools
6. Old mountain bikes and road bikes

Hey Ron cool idea. You could also try hitting up these guys they have a bike recycling program here in Portland for low income kids.

If you need help transporting bike stuff from Portland to Hood River let me know I make the trip almost every weekend.
