I would say the ocean was over fifty and the air temp excluding windchill was about 53.
it was still finger numbing...... may have to hike up my skirt and wear my gloves and booties. 
brokedown blowhard showed up to support the crew.

The real temp was 46 degrees
brutal without gloves if over 20 mph.

That was some damn fine drivin
Hwy 38 was closed for 2 days that evening due to some falling snow laden trees that you were dodging ,
after the morphine and reinsertion of my bones that was some big news in Roseburg
My wife takes such good care of me
I feel very lucky
