The topic has come up before, but it's been a long time:

What do people think of the Q lines? Any other good options out there?

Also, it looks like these lines are sold in spools? I don't get how you are supposed to attach the loops on the ends. I don't think I'd trust myself to do that very-important attachment (stitching?). I have a loop that is fraying on one of my lines and Airtime said it can't be replaced (or maybe they meant without shortening the line, which would have been fine by me).

That's the point of Q-Line. The line itself is pre-sleeved in such a way that you can tie figure-8 knots in the line without having to apply sleeving. You just measure your lengths, mark the points with permanent marker, cut 6 inches beyond the mark to give you room for your loops and knots, tie em up and go.

From my experience building short line bars with Q, the stuff is kind of a pain. It has a higher stretch ratio than traditional sleeved line, so you always have to check and make sure your bar is in tune. Not so bad for a rig with 15m lines, but definitely gets pronounced as you go up to 24m and 26m.

I'm sure there's people out there who swear by the stuff, I just wasn't too impressed. The more time I spend tuning my bars the less time I get to do cool stuff, like watch you tube, hate on my roommates and drink beer.

I have two rolls, yellow and orange.

Is a little heavier but works good when messing around with shorter lines.

PM me if you are interested in any.

they have there ups and downs,....

i like Q-line for its strength, makes me feel really confident when attempting glide's. Creating the larks head knots is fairly easy and useful knowledge.

the downside's i know of is:
The bigger gauge adds for line drag.....they'll whistle under heavy load.
They can be stiff and a real pain to untangle, especially when your frantically trying to get your lines rolled out and missing the most EPIC day Mad
they stretch for the first few sessions, check em regularly

Make sure if you use q-line that your hook knife can cut it. I've heard of folks having trouble in the past.
