Hey everyone.
It was sIck!
Conditions held and we received fresh snow over the weekend and the wind held @ least at the lake. Couldn't have ask for a better set up!
Demo's went killer on Saturday, with high wind ranging 18-25 and about 3-4 inches of freshiz on the lake! It felt like butter out there! Buzz was on the 7M-9M Revs that day and riders were stoked! I could here them yelling Yahoooo...! this Rev is the sickest snowkite ever...!
That night it dumped a bit more; 3-4 inches of defined crystal flakes.
Sunday was all about getting first chair @ Discovery Basin. If you have not had the chance to get out there or if there is no wind for that day then Discovery bound you must go. That place is sick as hell! Tons of vertical, epic terrain, Steep tree runs, cliffs, ultra light snow, sun, and the sickest green run on the plant!
So whats the best thing to do after a epic session up at the mountain? Mid day Snowkiting on the Lake which was about 10 mins away. How sick is that, hardy any driving to get your fix in G-town. Winds that day on the lake were light and steady and had 13M Revs and Fuels out riding and the big nasty 15M Rev too. Basically the 15 was the first on the lake and the last off. That Kite is the ultra light wind tool!

GET THE HELL OUT HERE FOR THIS EVENT ITS ALWAYS SICK!

Looks sick - Discovery mountain looked epic as well. Hopefully the Soldier Mountain snowkite rodeo will produce as well cause the terrain is insane.
