now they just need to make movies like that for a 100% spherical omnimax put you in the middle, kind of like the chamber that Xavier in "the X-men" movie uses

Yes, awesome find Gman. For those who don't know, click and use your mouse to look around while the video is playing. you'll be able to look in any direction.

Did you know that immersive media is based in Portland-- They are! I'm fortunate to have worked for them on some of their early videos dating back to '92. That's how long in the making their system is. 90% of their work is government related, but sometimes they'll do pieces like that. They will have a piece for the Mt. hood meadows website --soon-- at least by next season it will be up.

Also, that shoot at teaupoo was a terrible nightmare-- everything that could go wrong did, like the 1st time they tried it, the housing leaked, etc.
There is a HD show coming out on the making of that video. I'm not sure what network will p/u though. Red Bull hasn't sold it yet. Craig Adkins produced it (the immersive piece), and also shoots many corporate and commercials in our area.

There is a kiteboarding piece to be released-- but mum's the word....

PS. Gman, immersive is the company I tried to hook you up with for Eponic. Could be a good fit.

Yep. I'm sure that you all know this but I was just messing around with google. If you go to the maps section of google (don't have to mess w/ google earth) you can get pretty much any street that you want--this sorta view in metro areas... It's pretty fun to play around with.
