It appeared to be "Goin'-Off" at the Sandbar today. Although, the dog said (it was) "ruff."

wow, didn't think there would be enough snow to ever kite there!
Is that the first time anybody's ever tried that on the sand bar?

Saw you guys out there, looked light but doable. Plenty of snow I'd guess based on the foot+ of fresh on our deck.

Spike - its been done but its rare!

Nice! Now, is it possible to take the fins off a kiteboard and ride amphibious?

We're supposed to get a pretty solid westerly either today or tomorrow, in the low to mid 20's.

If anyone thinks about going for it, put up a post so we can try to get a few people together for a session.

I don't think so but there are photos of a (snowkiting) Alex Peterson a couple years ago crossing the columbia on his snowboard and then riding back onto the sandbar.

Check out the Something Stronger movie, lots of amazing snow/water tricks.
