Didn't like the groundboard experience with the straps too much on the tarmac - what would you recommend for tooling around parking lots

Gman...

get a large older skateboard(at least 8.5 width) with wide(longboard-stlye) trucks... or, you can just use a longboard..(but it will be directional)

It's really not too hard, just kinda intimidating... make sure you have soft wheels too...so you will roll-over any cracks, rocks etc.

plus, you got the strapless mastered anyhow....it will be a cake-walk. Very Happy

I got one you can borrow if you want..

Yo, GmaN
Id say any board that has high manuverability and soft soft wheels
for smoother riding Cool
I have a few boards that you can try out any time that you like, that way you would have had a better gage for which type of board you are looking for.

just make sure you use big wheels. I'd suggest checking out abec 11 wheels and for trucks i'd take a look ate randal 180's or seismic trucks (if you choose to go the longboard route.

MBS makes a downhill street board that should work well for kiting, I'll post a pic soon.

I agree! I've got my Dom maxed out at 25.5 right now... but I think it's wide enough.

Took this pic of my gf's nephew the other day. That's gangsta!
