I'm flying down to that general area Saturday morning, picking up (buying) a Honda Pilot with my friend, then driving it back up, so I was debating taking a couple kites...
What to do?  |

| I've had good luck in the Malibu area, not sure about this time of year though. |

Adam,
Are you driving the coast all the way to SF? If so, bring the kites. There are some great places to kite along the way.
Malibu, Leo Carillo
C-Street, ventura
East Beach in Santa Barbara
Santa Cruz
Wadell's
Half Moon Bay
Are a few that come to mind.
If you bring a surfboard there are a ton of great spots to paddle out! |

Hi folks;
Thanks everyone for the quick replies. Santa Barbara is a little further than I had planned but C-street and Malibu are definitely doable.
thanks,
