Not sure if it's the same company as the one in cozumel but if it is dont do it.
I rented from Payless in Cozumel and they gave me a VW thing with no windows, no wipers, no seat belts, it was a big picece of sh*t couldnt even drive it over like 10mph cause it would shake so bad. Went over to Hertz and they gave me the same price as Payless did and the jeep was sweet. |

Go with Thrifty or National since they are a lot closer to the Cabo airport than the others. It seems that everyone gets a light blue dodge badged hyundai 4 door compact. In Ventana I saw dozens of them!
Bring some bungie cords or straps to put your golf bag/board bag either on the roof or sticking out the back of the trunk depending on how many pasengers you have and how much gear.
Tip- check to see if your CC card will cover part of the car insurance. You will at least need to buy the $11 a day liability ins but you may not need to buy the $17-24 day collision if your credit card covers it. I checked and my Amex covered it.
Also- be sure to point out ANY damage prior to leaving. When returning, they will go over it to make sure there is no damage unlike the states where they don't even look.
