Friday:
Siletz Bay - 30mph South-South-Westerlies with outgoing tide (probably difficult to stay upwind)
Fern Ridge - Clean 20-30mph South-South-East wind all day long, much warmer temperatures than last time too.

Saturday:
Siletz Bay - 30mph West-South-Westerlies in the morning decreasing to 20mph in the early afternoon (lots of flat water!)

I know that many of you have tomorrow off because classes don't start until next week at the earliest. Drop the gay Wii controllers and bag of chips, grow some balls and come kite on Fern Ridge tomorrow Twisted Evil, even if it's cold. It is always worth it once you've got your kite in the air, board on the water, back where they belong. Plus a new spot always adds to the fun.

PM for carpool arrangements, I'm shooting to be there around 10 am.

Be careful out there - supposed to get some 50+ gusts in the valley.

Here are some directions:

The water level depicted is actually the current water level. There is also a large grass lawn to roll the kites up on, as well as a dry place to change.

Can I make it ANY EASIER??

skipping syllabus day and going to the Siletz tomorrow. West-South-West wind in the upper teens, high tide so lots of knee-deep flat-water. We'll be there around 9am. temp is gonna be pretty warm too, almost 50°F!

We'll see all of you there.
