I'm planning a trip out to the Spokane area to visit friends, and I might want to pack a kite.
Does anyone know the good spots out there?
How consistent is the wind?
My friends want to go snowboarding at Mt. Spokane, and so places near there would be ideal.

Hi All, YES would be my answer especially since we snowkite here and we are getting dumped on right now. Looking at steady SSW 10-15 right now, which could easily pick up or even clean up from the NE. I live in Cd'A and we kite the Prarie in Rathdrum. Where do you guys kite? PM me as well if you all want to hook up. Looks like a good weekend lining up. Paul

We found this killer spot about 20 min outside Spokane near Rearden. Bunch of rolling stubble wheat fields (endless) and cornice ledge that lie at the base of a appx. 1000ft high hill. Like a giant terrain park.
The wind comes in uninterrupted since you're a bit higher up than in Spokane. Definitely be going again this weekend.
