That's Johny G with the helmet cam. We were there with you on that downwinder. Fun day. Huge, maui sized swell on the outside. I think I saw the same hammerhead out there.
I was the guy with the orange shirt and the blue REV.
I'll look for ya minyana.....Downwinder's ROCK!

Another beauty day here. I could get used to this.
Gman tried to hurt himself on his birthday. he took a killer crash and still managed a second session. way to tough it out dude.

Nice photos!
Please keep posting them.......Im headed down for kite expo at the end of Jannuary.

Two questions:
1) Does anybody need anything from the States that you would like me to bring down?
2) Should I bring my directional board? I see some swell but, everybody tells me its really choppy? Do you think a 6ft directional would be worth bringing?

See you in La Ventana Very Happy

yo J-Pizzle! seen lotsa surf boards on the water and you could prob rent if needed. though I've been on a twin the whole time, some days the conditions are worth a directional . John's been riding surf and skim boards quite a bit.

Plus..the wind has been good since we've been here. I've been flying 9m Helix and Mgirl has been on a 7m Helix all but one session.

Nic: thx for looking in on Francisco Thumb's Up

First day I have had a decent connecton to the internet. Two days ago was interseting. I eneded up splitting my 11m rev in half, right down the seam. Luckily someone in town does some nice kite repair, and I didn't need it yesterday. Of course body dragging back to your board with a split kite is not really happening. The upwind characteristics of the kite are slightly compromised Crying or Very sad

So I ended up losing my board. The next day we walked the whole beach and no luck, although we did find someone elses board. Ended up renting a board for the day, and at the end of the day someone had found my board and dropped it off at baja Joe's Thumb's Up

The trip has been great from a wind standpoint. Great wind every day we have been here and looking good for today. Only two days left Confused Lots of cool wildlife, rays doing flying 180's, sea snakes, sharks, lots of fish.

Here are a few pictures from a couple days ago. Still have to download some others from the camera.
