Awesome first day in La Ventana. Exciting ride from Cabo yesterday - highlights include some tasty roadside fur filled burritos (still crapping out some claws) and the invisible vaca of death - black cow at night - thank god for back seat drivers (shut your yap back there).

Some pics - nice waves today - wind reminiscent of home 8-35 but mostly on the high side.

Yesterday was a great first day. It felt like back home with the gusty winds Smile Nice huge swell to play in and a long downwinder from where we are staying near the hot springs down to La Ventana.

Here are a few pictures of Janet. She was pretty stoked that her knee was feeling good. First day out kiting after knee surgery is always a bit scary.

Hey Y'all. I just got to LV myself last night and am staying at Casa Verde. Denise was out on a red 5m Waroo in the morning and pink 7m Waroo in the afternoon yesterday (Saturday). Track me down so I know who you are. El Norte is serving up some really nice swell and should make for some great shots! Late this afternoon, I'll be looking for directional riders in the break between New Wind and Baja Joes to shoot. Look for me and my bobbing yellow helmet. Wink

Some more pics - light winds but got really fun about a mile out (a little sketchy) - some nice big swell (sorry no action shots - all the goods far from land)

Demoed the 9m REV - Awesome kite - superfun on the strapless surfboard - fast kite, dropped it in the waves in stupid light wind, relaunched like a champ

Today was awesome, I will post some pictures later. I got a few of GMAN on a downwinder riding by our place. We hooked up with some folks that were doing downwinders and did a couple round trips from just under the hot springs. Janet actually got 3 downwinders in Smile Perfect steady 9m conditions. Happy Holidays everyone Thumb's Up

Good call on the wind today in Jupiter G-Man! Perfect 11m T2 North wind with the Fuse. I rode for about 2 hours.......Now it is time for a lobster and swordfish Christmas eve dinner.

I will try to get some pics.....

Glad the wind came up for you fish - funny you gettin sapere to pull up ikite in Baja - crazy

Didn't look it was gonna happen today - but its crankin now

Saw some cool sealife:

1. Giant Turtle laying eggs - some kid was poking at it with a stick - went over to tell him No Molestar - on closer inspection something had bitten off its head - hmmmmmmmmm........

2. Big Ray did a full tantrum right in front of me - cool

3. Saw a fin, looked like a billfish about a mile out - sailed over - it was a small 5 foot hammerhead - gotta love that hammer shape

Some pics from the camera of Lynee Sapere:
