Hey everyone,
I'm posting this here hoping that some of you travelling kiters might know some peeps that could be interested in this job... or maybe one of ya'lls got the itch to move to Florida  -
Kiteboarding and WindSurfing magazines are potentially looking for a full-time web editor, to be based in our Winter Park, FL office.
Ideally, we'd love someone with strong writing skills, HTML and video editing experience, and of course, a passion about windsports - kiting, windsurfing, or - even better - both!
We'll be getting the official job listing up soon with a few more details, requirements, etc - but I wanted to send out an early heads-up.
This is an IN-HOUSE, ENTRY-LEVEL position, full-time in our Winter Park office - (Orlando, about an hour from Cocoa Beach, an hour and a half from West Coast beaches.) Telecommuting will not be possible. For all of you still in school, sorry - but we need someone who's completed their degree and is ready to start working full time.
The job has full benefits, relaxed work environment (no boardies, but shorts and flops are fine), and while it is an hour from the beach, we're pretty good about getting out of the office to go ride, and the cable park is just twenty minutes away.
