I have a fuel I coverted to a 5 line setup (ss oneline) for the water. Now I want to use the same kite on the snow. I know I need to move the 5th line from my leading to my trailing edge for reverse relaunching, but do I have to make any adjustments to the 5th line after I move it or just leave it running through my bar as is? Am I supposed to put the little yellow ball back on my steering line and re-attach my leash to the steering line o-ring (basically setting it up as a 4 line kite) since my 5th line is now on my trailing edge? Thanks for ANY advice |

I use 4 lines on the fuels and relaunch is no issue as long as there is wind and your not dumping/landing kite on gravel ,pavement or fencing.
My buddy always tells me to hook up 5 line to trailing E but when theres wind relaunching even a 17.5 machine is simple. Way easier than h2o |

| I too have only been on 4 line Fuels in the snow, but I really think it'd be better to just leave on the LE. Are you planning on doing any unhooked riding? Can't imagine flagging the kite out on the trailing edge when you lose the bar, or even after hitting the quick release... For relauch, yeah, it's probably a little faster. |
