TUE...S WIND 40 TO 45 KT...EASING TO 25 TO 30 KT IN THE AFTERNOON. COMBINED SEAS 23 FT DOMINANT PERIOD 8 SECONDS

lets see whos got some balls. They always overpredict the south winds to keep the fishermen safe.

We've got a high of 60 degrees with gusts to match! Pretty knarly for the beaches forecast!

Embarassed I'll be hiding out in the nearest estuary! Embarassed

...including cities of Astoria, Cannon Beach, Long Beach and Tillamook
Issued: October 08, 2007 14:56:20 PDT

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of rain in the evening.. Then a chance of rain after midnight. Breezy. Lows 50 to 55. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph after midnight.

Tuesday: Rain...windy. Highs around 60. South wind 20 to 30 mph.. Except south wind 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 60 mph near beaches and headlands.
