Light winds have sortof shut this event down but day 4 looks sweet http://www.kiteblogs.com/component/option,com_jd-wp/Itemid,26/p,2502/ The writeups from kiteblogs are great. Heat by heat play by play, especially the freestyle moves. - the wave event was attended by the some of the worlds best. Those lefts! OMG.
I guess day 6 had no wind so some of the competetors got on the wave machine. The PNW wave machine.?. bring it! http://www.kiteblogs.com/component/option,com_jd-wp/Itemid,26/p,2525/
Getting windy out here on the N coast!! Swell is dropping to reasonable size and the winds should build to fairly steady 25-30 by mid day. Hope to see some of you out here. Downwinders to the wreck this last week were very exciting!! Big fun, big wipeouts, and even some elk herds on the dunes for the scenic escape.

better, extended action here. supposedly martin vari won with these "huge" floaters at the end, but i've seen genek do comparable ones over and over, no worries. the frontside action by the aussies is great--i know where i'm moving.

hey gabe,
thanks for the link. great video!
anyone notice that a lot of the kites were bows? maybe just because they were in the waves?
