Ok, who out there is pumped for the release of Halo 3? Is there any other halo fiends in the kitign community?
I have been playing online after 10 or so lately so if anyone of you feel like dusting off your X-box and playing some Halo then send me a friend request. Maybe we can start a NWkite clan. LOL

So, I was born in Berkeley and raised by Granola Parents. You know the type--Green Peace on the Volvo, no squirt guns, toy soldiers, processed foods, sugar cereal yadda-yadda.
Reluctantly, I allowed my 11 year to spend his hard earned summer savings on an X-box, thinking he would learn that these violent games are not so great, and that peace and love is the true path to happiness.
To make a short story even longer, I have yet to go to bed before 11:30 PM playing those damn X-box games. Damn they are fun!
I pre-ordered Halo 3. Nuff said...

| Man, after playing first person shooters on the PC for so many years I just can't play one with a tiny little joystick... I have tried cause all those games look awesome, I just can't aim with it. I need an Xbox360 with a mouse... |

| Forest that is some funny stuff. A mouse doesn't have enough buttons. I can't put a finger on why, but playing Halo on line is more addicting than kiteboarding |

after many many years of being a quake1, quake2, quake3 and UT Tourney addict .. (HOOD clan in the house!) I have to admit that I cant play a FPS on a console box to save my life. aiming with the stick is nothing like a mouse..
they do have mouse/keyboard mods you can purchase for xbox360.. i just dont see the point.. the pc online games are so much better than anything on a console.
i am excited to play halo 3.. just dont think its the next coming of jesus christ as some of my friends believe.

That is because your stuck in 1980 playing video games on a PC with a mouse...
PC games are generally cheap imitations of dedicated counsel games. YOu could not imagine how much planning has gone into Halo 3 to ensure its long term playability. Were are talking THOUSANDS of people working on this thing for years. check this vid out..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfrDqNoDoc8
Online multiplayer Halo games in 1080i on a 36" HD TV w/ 7.1 surround sound.. not exactly the second coming of christ; but probably as close as we will get.
PS, there is Nothing hotter than chicks that play Halo.
