Man it is really nice to have the place to yourself. I think I saw 4 guys at the bridge or higher. The wind was gusty at the Event site but really nice by the bridge and at the lower hatch.
At first I looked at the wind report 20 to 30 at event site and 11 to 30 at Shwell.

It was epic, but a little north!

do you remember where you were when this gust hit? I was pumping my kite through a lull making it back over to the kiddie pool...then WHAMMO! ...gotta love the Gorge!

Absolutely! It was great swell. Colby and Tekko were charging it today. So much fun out there. Tonia, Jodi and Sonja were killing it too.
Not sure if it was just lucky timing but the kiddie pool, the river inlet and Well's all produced nicely.
Love that 7m Helix. It totally rocks, especially in these conditions. The last couple days have been awesome! Very Happy

just above the bridge and at the lower hatch it was less gusty. It felt like 20 to 30 with some 35-38 gusts a liitle bit closer to The Hatch.

I'm amazed at how nice the new kites can handle the gusts and how much low end they still have.

An Epic day for sure. The crisp fall air and nobody in the way.
