hey forum,

when i was at the sand bar saturday, i met a guy on a torch kite that had a modified bar with a sliding stopper system. he said that a local guy named stussy or stewie makes the parts local in hood river. he also said that the shops don't carry his stuff but, he sells it on his own.

anyone know this person?

thanks

Stringy? aka Jim Stringfellow. Maybe someone else can chime in but I think you can buy his stuff at Wiley's Watersports in Seattle.

What are the modifications besides a sliding stopper for the Torch? I have one of Wiley and Jim's first modified bars from last year and it worked great!

correct!

While my riding style is quite different from Paul's style, I would say I'm a little more proficient in the following...

a. photography and photoshop ( as witnessed in the above shot, here's the original image I took of Paul in La Ventana last winter)

b. raising money for KB4C (2nd place in the fundraising as of the day of the event)

c. pimping your bar, ask many out there about their custom setups either from Seattle or the Gorge.

feel free to send me an email at jim at livewireprototyping dot com
