Slower westerly start for the Gorge. Higher pressure weasels its way back in causing Corridor winds to bump upward this PM.

High pressure will continue pressing eastward off the Pacific this AM bringing more sunshine & warmer air temps to the Gorge this PM. Unfortunately, it will also be causing onshore gradients to dip downward as well. With less W to E gradient lean, Gorge westerlies will become very dependent on heating over the desert to make up the difference. A new thermal Low spiking northward from Eastern CA across the S OR border will begin to add on the degrees, especially over the next 48-72 hrs, but it doesn't look like they'll arrive soon enough to amp MON PM temps. So a fairly moderate 18-22 occasionally gusting stronger pace is most likely what Central Gorge sites will see here.

• Coast: N OR sites may not be able to jump past NW 12-16, Manzanita southward to Florence should push 18-22 w/ better PM clearing. Florence southward should carry steady 20+ thru PM period as northerly gradients hold pretty tight.

• Western Gorge: Heavy marine fog a problem here, stiff onshore gradient but not enough juice to get Jones Beach moving - even late. Sauvie's also only able to get into pulsing NW 8-12 w/ clouds.

• Central Gorge: AM winds run into W18-22 range if clouds set up nicely to the west early. PM winds will hinge on quick heating to hold this pace.

• Eastern Gorge: Lighter conditions coming together for the desert as Low heads east to ID. AM could still collect 14-18, PM weakens to 10-14.

I'm sure WeatherFlow appreciates you re-posting their forecast.
I seem to remember there being some rules against that as
part of your membership agreement.

It kind of upsets me since I pay to see that and you are giving
it away free.

Think about it!!

I have an account, but I just bumped it back to the free one for this year to see if I really miss it or not. I do miss the phone stuff (it's the pay service), but windonthewater.com does a pretty good job filling in...
