Hi everybody. I'm writing with some sad news for us. After months of debate and discussion, trips to the vet and medications we have decided that we need to get rid of our well loved dog, coco. Her temperment has deteriorated with her age to the degree that we don't feel completely confident in Sophia's safety around her. We would love to find a good home where she can be given the kind of attention she deserves. We have an appointment with the Humane Society of Or. this thursday morning to give her over, but would love to get her a good home before then. If you know of anyone who would want to provide coco, a nine year old red Australian Shepherd, with a child-free home to live out the rest of her days in, please put them in contact with us.
Coco is a great dog with lots of energy and needs frequent walks. She also loves taking naps and laying at your feet. She is a dilligent protector who likes cats. She is spayed and up to date on all shots.She is in great health with many more years ahead of her. She is a great dog that is just not good for young children as we have painfully discovered.
This has been a very difficult decision for us and we will miss Coco greatly. It would ease our minds immensly to know she had gone to live with someone who can love her as much as we have. Thanks for your help and understanding.

| How young can you go with children. Like, is 8 and above acceptable?

| What is her inappprioate behavior? Does she nip at kids? How small? How about other large animals like horses, llamas, teenagers, other dogs?
