Since there is already some Hawaii threads going and I'm headed to Oahu Friday I figured I'd start another. What's the skinny on Oahu? I am staying with a buddy that lives near Kailua Bay I've heard that is the place to be. Will I get much wind this time of year.

I was thinking I'd just bring my 10 meter Bularoo and two boards. My 17 C kite seems to have just about the same low end and I hate that freaking thing. From what I've heard there is no reason to bring the 7 meter.

hey andy use this.... http://weather.hawaii.edu/current/hawobs.cgi?banner=uhmet its a good way to see whats going on or off a 10 might be small for kailua unless one of your boards is a surf style this time of year head to moks.....for stronger winds ,,,good folks...fun wind swell be aware of rules and restrictions as they are in place.....if in doubt just ask.....repete just ask ...no one will stere ya wrong as no one wants more regs lots of tourests with no clue of kiteing so use your head... .locals and lifegaurds are at most beaches and would rather help first than later once on the water GO BIG.....HAVE FUN Exclamation
