I saw quite a few photographers snapping away as Clinton was throwing huge kiteloop/handlepass manuvers last night at the spit. Anyone catch those?

AFAIK there were two sessions with photographers, one at around 3 and the other one later. I was kooking out there most of the first one and had to leave before the second.

Who was the dude on a brown slingshot kite who was also there?

hey guys,

never kited at rufus, what was the wind speed for the water to be that smooth? what size kites were they on? now that i see it, i might have to make the 2 hour drive out, looks worth it.

All of the images on this thread are taken from the launching and landing spot and it's mostly a wind shadow. This is not the place you want to be riding around much or you will make many enemies.
