We have lived in SPI the last two years. Our friends tell us this is the worst month to be on the island. It is also part of the hurricane season.
October starts to get nice and windy but maybe the wind doesn't kick in until the end of the month.
November is good for wind but it isn't tropical usually. |

I went last year over THankgiving....good wind, not great, but heard it is usually better...
The water is no problem..I didn't wear a suit...but you better believe, all the SPI locals or other warm-water dudes were all in suits!!
Killer kite destination.
